Data Lead [WIM318]

We are looking for a Data Lead to join the Eative team. In this position, you will play a critical role in maintaining and setting up the Eative Data model to support different business areas. Excellent technical skills are required to define and implement ETL processes, define SQL queries, and visualize data by building a set of automated dashboards. Thanks to the analytical and business-oriented approach to data, the Data Lead will boost product optimization and help unlock new opportunities in the product.

Responsibilities

1. Design, build, and support modern and scalable data pipelines using internal solutions or 3rd party platforms.
2. Collaborate with Software engineers, Product owners, and other data members to understand what data is required and make it available.
3. Use best practices around CI/CD, automation, testing, and monitoring of analytics pipelines.
4. Conceptualize, develop, and maintain dashboards and visualizations that inform both tactical and strategic decision making.
5. Collaborate with different stakeholders to define KPIs and understand trends.
6. Enable self-service data exploration, making data standardized and easily accessible.
7. Proactively provide hands-on analyses to highlight trends and discover insights from data.

Requirements

1. 5+ years of experience in a similar role and/or a degree in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
2. Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL pipelines and data modeling.
3. Experience in the following areas:
1. Data engineering and analytics with basic knowledge in software development.
2. Strong AWS Data stack knowledge (Redshift, S3, Kinesis, etc.) or the same in other cloud platforms.
3. Visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Qlikview, etc.
4. Integrating and exploiting external APIs or third-party ELT tools.
4. Excellent problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
5. Comfortable with change, especially that which arises through company growth.
6. Fluent spoken and written English.

Nice to have experience, but not obligatory

1. Experience with ELT tools like Fivetran.
2. A/B test design and analysis.
3. Experience with Data quality and governance.
4. Data Science and Machine Learning models.
