Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a dedicated EU RFP (Request for Proposal) Specialist and Content Manager who can drive impactful solutions for our customers. This is a fully remote position that requires strong project management skills and a talent for content development. Collaborating with hardworking colleagues worldwide, you will ensure our proposals not only meet our high standards but also stay competitive.

Key Responsibilities :

Project / RFP Management

1. End-to-end coordination of designated RFP workload acting as the focal point for the sales team and internal functional areas throughout the RFP and RFI (Request for Information) process.
2. Prioritize multiple proposals simultaneously, rigorously adhering to project timelines.
3. Develop and implement a project plan to complete the written response for the RFP or RFI.
4. Coordinate internal resources and support the sales lead in facilitating communication within the proposal team.
5. Conduct the first-pass review of each proposal, providing answers to questions by researching the appropriate knowledge database, reviewing past proposals, and searching relevant websites.
6. Provide comprehensive writing and editing expertise to ensure all aspects of the proposal are accurate, complete, and error-free. Developing business proposals, including RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs (Request for Quotation), ensuring a cohesive, coordinated, and strategic response.
7. Act as gatekeeper and project coordinator/manager to compile and submit all customer files. Upload documentation and work within customer-specific portals as needed.
8. Lead project debriefings, analyze any issues or problems that occurred during the course of a project, and apply lessons learned to future proposals.
9. Train the sales team on the RFP process.

Content Management

1. Develop and maintain the EU RFP content library to enable efficient response to customer RFPs and related questionnaires.
2. Support the development of Gene AI for tenders and provide content for the centralized library.
3. Leverage Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Quality Management software system and Sales Enablement tools for document control where required.
4. Ensure content accuracy and quality aligns with company standards and messaging.
5. Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and refine content.
6. Apply strong verbal and written communication skills.
7. Evaluate information critically and present it convincingly.
8. Develop RFP proposal templates to support EU RFP responses.
9. Regularly review and update content to reflect the latest company information, products, services, and maintain brand integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Proven experience in Tenders/RFP Management, working in a cross-functional environment.
2. Proficient in English; knowledge of an additional language is desirable.
3. Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills are critical.
4. Demonstrated ability to independently take ownership of initiatives and drive execution.
5. Ability to travel, not to exceed 5%.
