Offer Description

Universidad Pontificia Comillas is seeking to appoint a Specialist Technician in Nursing Assistance and / or Occupational Therapy :

Job Responsibilities :

• Collaborate in an ongoing research project related to aging and mental health.
• Administer a pre-designed questionnaire to older adults with Severe Mental Disorders at Centro San Juan de Dios de Ciempozuelos.

Skills / Qualifications :

• Minimum 8 years of experience working with older adults with Severe Mental Disorders.
• Additional training in Nursing Assistance and / or Occupational Therapy will be positively valued.

Specific Requirements :

• Be a Spanish national, a national of a member country of the European Union, or a foreigner with a residence and work permit in Spain.
• Hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or Health Sciences.
• The minimum requirements must be accredited with legally valid certificates, including those demonstrating professional experience in line with the functions to be performed and the assessment criteria.

The conclusion of the contract is subject to the availability of the project's budget and compliance with employment regulations.

In case of non-compliance, the Selection Board may leave the position vacant or contact the next eligible candidate.

Eligibility criteria Required :

• Proof of experience with older adults with Severe Mental Disorders at Centro San Juan de Dios de Ciempozuelos.
• Experience working with older adults with Severe Mental Disorders (0-10).
• Training in Nursing Assistance and / or Occupational Therapy (0-2).
• Bachelor's degree in Social Integration (0-2).
• Personal interview (0-20 points).

Selection process

The selection process will be governed by the principles of publicity, equality, merit, and capability.

A Selection Committee will be established, composed of representatives from the research group and the Technical Management Unit.
