We are seeking an experienced R&D Director to lead our research and development initiatives in the food sector. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, oversee the development of new products, and ensure that our offerings align with market trends and consumer preferences.
Key Responsibilities :
Product Innovation & Development : Lead the ideation, development, and launch of new food products, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
Market & Trend Analysis : Stay informed about emerging industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to inform product development strategies.
R&D Process Management : Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept through commercialization, ensuring products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with departments such as Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Quality Assurance to ensure successful product launches and market alignment.
Leadership & Team Management : Build and lead a high-performing R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in R&D, product development, or innovation within the food and beverage industry.
Proven track record of successfully launching new products from concept to market.
Strong knowledge of food formulation, ingredient functionality, processing techniques, and regulatory requirements.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
