What are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic creative professional that wants to grow with us. You will be a key resource to provide insights to the Operations team, by merging your business acumen and analytical skills with our historical data.

What will you do at REVEL?

As a Data Analyst, you will be developing data models in DBT, creating dashboards in Power BI, analyzing historical data, building reports, and helping the Operations team grow and become more efficient and data-driven. The core responsibilities include:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Fleet, Customer Experience) to understand their data requirements and provide tailored data solutions.
• Develop analytical models in DBT and data marts in Power BI to prepare data for analysis.
• Develop dashboards in Power BI to regularly communicate results and monitor key metrics.
• Provide guidance and support to business leaders and stakeholders on how best to harness available data in support of critical business needs and goals.
• Drive clarity and solve ambiguous, challenging business problems using data-driven approaches.

How will your first semester look like at REVEL?

• 1st month: Understand our data stack, dashboards, working methodology, and company culture. Start analyzing data and sharing insights with the Operations’ teams.
• In 3 months: Become an expert in data analysis of our fleet data and propose improvements based on insights obtained.
• In 6 months: Lead in data analysis for the Operations’ teams at REVEL and participate in strategic decision-making.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong background in management and operations is highly valued.
• Ability to summarize and visualize data (i.e., descriptive statistics and charts).
• Experience in creating stories and visualizations to communicate data insights.
• Proficiency in PowerBI (preferably) or any other data visualization tool.
• Proficiency in SQL, writing and understanding complex SQL queries and working with multiple data sources.
• Help design and implement data pipelines for efficient data collection, transformation, and visualization.
• Basic knowledge and experience in Python.
• Independent in solving problems within your capabilities and proactive in asking for support when needed.
• Rigorous, humble, curious, and proactive.
• English is a must.

Non-essential, but interesting:

• Version control GIT.
• Experience working with DBT.
• Experience working with APIs.
• Experience working with cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Previous experience in a startup environment.
• Previous experience in agile environments.
