Cybersecurity Consultant

Location: 28906, Getafe

What to expect:

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Consultant.

Main responsibilities:

• Conduct security audits of web applications, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending corrective actions.
• Analyze application source code to detect potential security flaws.
• Perform penetration testing (pentesting) on systems and applications to assess their resilience to attacks.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that security best practices are integrated from the early stages of the development lifecycle.
• Review and update security policies and procedures related to software development and web infrastructure.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and emerging threats in cybersecurity.
• Document audit findings and provide detailed reports for management and other relevant teams.

What you bring along:

• Educated to University degree level in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in web audits, vulnerability analysis, and penetration testing.
• Knowledge / experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java) and with code analysis tools.
• Familiarity with security tools such as OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Nessus, among others.
• Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., OSWE, OSCP) will be highly valued.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a meticulous, results-oriented approach.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple audits simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Proactivity and initiative will be highly valued.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and risk analysis principles.
