Job Purpose

Vueling is seeking a Creative Lead to help in design and execute campaigns and assets that are consistent with the brand strategy and work closely with the team to come up with the best possible creative solutions.

Being part of the Creative and Campaigns area of the Brand & marketing department, we are hiring a proven senior designer who will represent next Vueling’s brand guardian.

Main Accountabilities

  • Responsible for creating and managing Vueling’s design content hub, ensuring brand guardianship and coordinating both internal and external teams.
  • Lead the evolution of Vueling’s visual identity across all platforms (online and offline), ensuring consistency in design communication.
  • Supervise the design and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, social media, and events.
  • Maintain the brand’s tone of voice, visual identity, and storytelling through creative design and art direction.
  • Optimize assets for design, tone, and brand codes to align with audience behaviors and brand positioning.
  • Manage collaboration with various internal teams to maintain consistent branding across all departments.

Main Responsibilities - Tasks

  • Direct the design hub, focusing on process optimization, cost efficiency, and incorporating innovative solutions like AI.
  • Oversee the production of strategic and persuasive design assets and campaigns in collaboration with copywriters, campaign specialists, and agencies.
  • Ensure high design standards across all touchpoints, ensuring visual consistency and quality.
  • Lead conceptualization, design, and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, print, and events.
  • Execute photography and video sessions, and manage the production of assets for Vueling's campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, communication, innovation, etc.) to ensure branding consistency.
  • Conduct market research to understand trends and optimize branding efforts.

Main Relationships

  • Internal Teams: Sales, commercial, communication, customer service, innovation teams for cross-departmental brand alignment.
  • External Partners: Creative and advertising agencies, campaign specialists, and external collaborators for campaigns and design assets.
  • Creative & Campaigns Team: Close collaboration to produce high-quality design assets and strategic campaigns.

Education

Art education in advertising design and conceptual thinking preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within brand, advertising agency, or digital agency.
  • At least 7 years of proven experience in graphic design, art direction, branding, and editorial design (both print and digital).
  • Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Strong art direction and creative skills for campaigns and visual productions.
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to adapt and challenge the status quo.
  • Excellent team player with leadership skills and multitasking ability.
  • Knowledge of digital technology, advertising trends, and excellent presentation skills.
  • Resilient and flexible under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Languages

English and Spanish fluency.
