Requirements
As a Copywriter at SAMY Alliance, you will be responsible for developing engaging and impactful copy for social media, digital activations, toolkits, and brand campaigns. You will work closely with strategists, designers, and video editors to bring creative concepts to life across multiple platforms, with a strong focus on TikTok, Instagram, and emerging digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Copywriting
- Develop compelling and creative copy for social media, toolkits, digital campaigns, and activations.
- Adapt brand messaging to resonate with Gen Z and digital-first audiences.
- Transcreate and localize content between Spanish and English to maintain authenticity across markets.
- Edit and refine content to ensure tone, clarity, and brand consistency.
Creative Development- Collaborate with designers, strategists, and video editors to create engaging multimedia content.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop bold, trend-driven ideas for social media campaigns.
- Conceptualize and structure creative decks and presentations from scratch.
- Identify new trends, cultural moments, and brand opportunities to integrate into content strategies.
RequirementsMust-Have Skills- 2.5 years of experience in copywriting within a digital advertising agency or social media-first environment.
- Exceptional creative writing, storytelling, and conceptual thinking skills.
- Strong understanding of Gen Z culture, digital trends, and social-first content strategies.
- Experience in transcreation (Spanish-English) for global campaigns.
- High proficiency in TikTok, Instagram, and emerging digital platforms.
- Excellent grammar, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with designers, video editors, and strategists.
Nice-to-Have Skills- Experience working with FMCG, fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands.
- Background in journalism, advertising, marketing, or digital media.
- Basic understanding of SEO, performance marketing, and data-driven content strategies.
