The school now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cover Secondary Teacher to join our fantastic team to cover a period of Maternity Leave.
About the role
As a Teacher, your responsibilities include teaching assigned classes, ensuring children’s safety, and preparing lessons while keeping records of classwork and homework. You maintain excellent communication with colleagues and use various techniques to support and extend students’ learning. Your lessons are structured with clear objectives, and you set and model success criteria. You manage classroom behavior, set and mark homework, and assess students’ work according to relevant standards. Additionally, you report student progress to parents, care for materials, order books, revise curriculum plans, attend meetings, and engage in professional development.
