Cooling Service and Commissioning Engineer - Remote- (70% travel)

Would you like to continue your development as a Cooling Service and Commissioning Engineer in a multinational French company that specializes in energy management and automation?

The Cooling Service Representative is responsible for providing professional on-site services for the cooling range of products produced by the company to its customers including commissioning, technical on-site analysis, and resolving customer issues.

The role primarily focuses on complex & critical projects, including troubleshooting & on-site support for Cooling Equipment & Systems (air cooling, air- or water-cooled chillers, CRAC / CRAH units).

What are your core activities?

• Perform Startup & Commissioning on all equipment across the entire cooling product range.
• Evaluate unit installation (e.g. the quality of pipes for units and the hydraulic circuit for chillers).
• Evaluate system's installation & operational conditions.
• Ability to perform onsite adjustments to bring the units to the best running conditions.
• Be able to identify if the failure is related to a quality issue, software issue, or operation condition issue (Root cause Analysis).
• Properly document, label, and return all defective parts utilized in the repair of equipment to the designated disposal/repair location.
• Ability to perform preventive & corrective maintenance for cooling systems.

Requirements:

• Diploma/bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience with commissioning or field service repair with HVAC or cooling equipment.
• Experience with precision cooling is a real advantage.
• Experience with HVAC, generators, fire detection/suppression.
• Mandatory: fluent communication in English language (B2+ level min).
• Good software tools literacy: AutoCAD, MS Office, Acrobat.
• Willingness to travel internationally for 70% of the working time.
