Role Overview: Consultant (Traditional Businesses)

We are looking for experienced professionals with strong industry connections to help identify, guide, and prepare traditional-style businesses for sale. These may include:

  1. Manufacturing & Industrial
  2. Logistics & Transportation
  3. Wholesale & Distribution
  4. Food & Beverage / Hospitality
  5. Retail & Consumer Goods
  6. Healthcare & Medical Services

This is a commission-based, partnership-style role, ideal for individuals who want to leverage their expertise, network, and deal-making skills to build a lucrative business in collaboration with Mergerin.

Who This Is For

We seek professionals who:

  • Have 10+ years of experience in one of the traditional industries listed above.
  • Possess deep industry knowledge and insights.
  • Maintain a strong professional network of business owners and decision-makers.
  • Are skilled in negotiation and deal-making.
  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset and are eager to drive their own success.
  • Are results-driven and focused on closing deals.

Bonus: If you already run a consulting firm (or plan to start one), this role offers a unique opportunity to expand your services.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify Businesses for Sale – Use your network and industry expertise to find traditional businesses whose owners may be open to selling.
  • Negotiate Deals – Engage business owners and structure win-win agreements.
  • Oversee Business Transformation – Guide companies through a structured 1-year transformation process using Mergerin’s proven strategies.
  • Ensure a Successful Exit – Once a business has been optimized, our exit team takes over to secure the best possible sale, while you continue as an advisor.
