SUMMARY
The Allurion Public Relations Manager is responsible for corporate PR of the Allurion Balloon (formerly known as the Elipse balloon) and Allurion Program (formerly known as the Elipse Program) via broadcast, digital and other PR means. This role is responsible for accelerating Allurion’s growth across the globe by developing innovative communication strategies.
Your goal will be to create stronger brand awareness among consumers to drive potential patients to partner clinics as well as tell the Allurion story for corporate PR. Passionate about PR in digital as well as broadcast, you will manage from strategy to deployment of different tactics. You will manage PR agencies in different countries, work with broadcast and PR agencies on pitches, write corporate press releases and manage corporate press releases directly on Business Wire. We are hiring people who will not only develop new strategies to accelerate growth but will also drive its execution to deliver results.
As the subject matter expert in Public Relations and Allurion, this team member will define PR marketing strategies and budgets with full transparency and collaborate with cross-functional team members on buying and execution. Importantly, the Public Relations Manager is responsible for managing PR agencies and direct collaboration with local field sales teams to execute all PR activities. Additionally, this team member will have a strong capability in resiliency, agility, and collaboration with other cross-functional team members such as sales, digital products, professional education, trade / digital / brand marketing, and customer care managers to drive Allurion Balloon placements.

Collaborates with the commercial and marketing leadership team to develop strategies in development and implementation of the PR strategy including but not limited to press releases, digital and broadcast for our direct markets in collaboration with the brand marketing, digital marketing, and sales teams to increase demand and awareness for the Allurion program via:

Demonstrates effective collaboration and communication skills. Develops partnerships with professional education, medical / clinical, regulatory, sales, other marketing teams, business excellence, and program excellence – plus distributor teams. Holds customers, cross-functional teams, and field teams accountable to commitments, builds strong business relationships to deliverables and follow up happens in a timely / collaborative manner. Plans are transparent and are compliant with the company messaging, claims and process standards. Also routinely conducts field and commercial leadership needs analysis and leads execution plans resulting from aligned activities. Fosters relationships with key decision makers internally and externally. Consistently delivers on business plans / agreements with proactive communication and follow-up with all stakeholders.
