Job Vacancy: Head of News Media – Shape the Future of Political & Economic Journalism

Location: Valencia or Netherlands (partly remote, travel between locations)

Hours: Full-time

Salary: €1,800 - €3,200 per month (gross, depending on experience)

YOUNG Media is an expanding international media group aiming to create massive impact across real estate, health, news, lifestyle, and business.

Our news division is growing, and we need a strong editorial leader to take charge of political and economic journalism.

What will you do?

1. Expand TPO (ThePostOnline) into the leading Dutch political and economic news platform.
2. Develop an international version of TPO, increasing its global reach.
3. Investigate government mismanagement, political developments, and economic policies.
4. Produce and coordinate high-quality podcasts, video content, and in-depth news reports.
5. Work closely with our marketing and podcast teams to maximize audience engagement.
6. Build strategic partnerships with journalists, political analysts, and advertisers.

Who are you?

1. You have a strong editorial background in political and economic journalism.
2. You are critical, investigative, and independent, with a passion for deep reporting.
3. Experience in digital news platforms, podcast production, and multimedia content is a plus.
4. You have knowledge of AI tools and Open Research platforms to enhance investigative journalism.
5. You are fluent in English.
