Our CDMO partner based in Barcelona is currently looking to hire a Head of Quality Control.

They specialize in leveraging cutting-edge technological platforms and work closely with their clients to deliver innovative solutions. As part of their growth strategy, the organization is establishing a new GMP manufacturing facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology to support all phases of the production process.

Ideal Candidate

1. Minimum of 6+ years of QC experience within the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing space.
2. Experience managing multiple production lines.
3. Experience working with Microbial, mammalian, or mRNA based processes.
4. Proven experience with Method Development, Validation, and Stability testing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leading the QC function and team.
2. Support the planning and implementation of the QC strategy.
3. Oversee all QC operations in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
4. Implementing new QC initiatives.
5. Experience with Regulatory Audits and submissions.
6. Conducting CAPA and risk assessments.
7. Working cross-functionally with the wide R&D and Quality team.
8. Lead operational budgets for equipment upgrades, staff development programs, and regulatory compliant technology.
