Chemistry & Biology Teacher - IGCSE/A-Level - MYP/IB [P-842]

Think Ahead Academy is an elite tutoring academy specializing in teaching the IGCSE, A-Level, and IB curriculums, aimed at students from British and International backgrounds between the ages of fourteen and eighteen. This educational project was founded in 2016, having finished our second year with more than 190 seats, mainly due to our teaching method's success and personalized customer service.

Our team currently consists of a group of young professionals, with a native level of English and ample experience in the IGCSE, A-Level, and IB curriculums. We have teachers from 8 different nationalities working with us, with the common goal of maximizing the potential of our students.

What would you do?

1. Weekly face-to-face lessons
2. Full commitment toward our methodology and active participation in the development and rollout of innovative educational actions
3. Plan, evaluate, and revise curriculum, course content, materials, and instruction methods.
4. Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
5. Evaluating student performance and continuous feedback with the Coordinators and Head Centre.

What do we need?

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry or Biology. Most importantly, the candidate must be able to teach Chemistry or Biology at least at IGCSE/MYP level.
2. At least 1 year of teaching experience.
3. Native or excellent English speaking and writing skills.
4. Excellent creative, communication, and presentation skills.
5. Engaging personality and teaching style.

What do we offer?

Salary: The fee varies from 17 euros/hour to 43 euros/hour depending on the number of students.

Schedule: Think Ahead Academy: Afternoons from 5:15 pm to 9:15 pm.

Locations: Alcobendas/Madrid/Pozuelo/Online.
