Job Description:

Looking for a graduate in Chemical Engineering, in the area of Barcelona, Spain. The role of this position is to respond to new sales inquiries and to support the activities of the external sales team. This position is well suited to individuals with excellent communication & people skills and is one of the best ways for anyone considering an outbound sales role to gain relevant experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Receive inbound sales inquiries and provide quotations, product and service information, support and pricing details in response to inbound enquiries, promoting the features and benefits of the company’s products and services.
2. Provide administrative support for the production of RFIs, RFPs, RFQs and other sales related documents.
3. Identify sales leads and escalate them to external sales staff.
4. Maintain client databases.

Skills:

1. Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
2. Excellent communication skills and a growing sales focus.
3. Sound Chemical Engineering and Process Simulation knowledge.
4. Attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience:

Chemical Engineering degree qualifications are prerequisites, along with suitable industry and process simulation knowledge. Proficiency in English language is a requirement. Sales experience is preferred but not essential.

Career Path:

Internal Sales can move into external sales roles such as Sales Executive or Sales Representative.
