Meta is looking for an experienced, business-minded, and highly skilled Retail marketer to take on this exciting role in the Madrid Meta office focused on hardware. Reporting to the Channel Marketing Director in London, this role will own retail / channel marketing, online retail executions, in-store marketing programs, and customer acquisition for Meta in Spain and Italy. The Meta team is developing the future of the wearable category and bringing products to consumers that transform entertainment and social experiences. The Channel Marketing team at Meta is tasked with growing consumer adoption of Meta hardware technology and working with partners to develop this new exciting category.

Channel Marketing Manager, Spain and Italy Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute retail marketing programs to drive sales of Meta products in Spain and Italy.
  • Plan, track, and optimize co-marketing budget.
  • Brief Creative teams and manage marketing assets.
  • Own and enhance the customer experience online and in-store including fixture placement, demos, and online product pages.
  • Support retail expansion into new stores and new European markets.
  • Work closely with the Sales Account Managers to support their objectives and drive the day-to-day execution of all retail marketing activity, track key metrics, execute bundles, promotions, and content offers, and improve efficiencies through the marketing mix.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a marketing role, with a clear record of achievement and success in technology-based consumer marketing.
  • Proven knowledge in selling consumer goods within both online and retail capacity with experience of leading Consumer Electronics retailers.
  • A track record leading successful retail marketing programs and go-to-market planning and execution across online and traditional retail channels.
  • Demonstrable experience in planning and managing significant marketing budgets.
  • Clear understanding of the retail landscape and direct experience working with Consumer Electronics retailers in Spain and Italy.
  • Experience working directly with retailers on bundles, promotions, and store merchandising.
  • Highly developed communication and presentation skills demonstrating advanced business acumen that reflects Meta's values.
  • An in-depth understanding of CE consumers, particularly tech early adopters, and an advocate for innovation and the opportunities presented by disruptive technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, ideally with post-graduate business / marketing qualification.
  • Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian.
