Job Summary:A Case Manager (Remote) with PROVE Partners will coordinate with law firms on matters related to personal injury cases and the medical treatment their client receives. In coordination with the PROVE Operations Team, you will handle everything from the beginning of the case through case resolution. This will include case intake, ensuring clients get scheduled with our recommended network of doctors and requesting and reviewing medical records and bills. You will consistently communicate with law firms via the portal, email, and phone to ensure the highest level of customer service.
Job Duties:Core Job Function:- You will communicate and build rapport with law firms to facilitate a seamless process for their clients to access medical care required as a result of an injury.
Ancillary Job Functions:- The Case Manager will be responsible to gather all information necessary to present the underwriter with a complete file for determination of funding.
- The Case Manager will be responsible to underwrite the case to the level of authorized funding.
- If the case is authorized for funding or declined for funding, the Case Manager is responsible to communicate this status with the provider and the attorney.
- The Case Manager is responsible to update CORE as required for ongoing medical lien funding.
- The Case Manager will be responsible to ensure that all documents received are saved into the appropriate locations.
- The Case Manager will schedule patients with medical providers in the PROVE Provider Network and follow up with the patient and attorney for each medical encounter.
- Provide education for attorney firms and providers on the PROVE Portal. You will encourage utilization and identify any barriers to use.
- Correspond with attorney offices and providers to obtain all relevant case information.
- Manage phone, fax, email, and attorney portal information for each case.
- Develop and maintain productive customer relationships.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance with all correspondence.
- Deliver optimal customer satisfaction through timely, accurate case processing.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Case Management or VP of Operations.
Skills And Qualifications:- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a case manager in the medical lien funding space.
- Paralegal with personal injury experience, preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, preferred.
- Associates or bachelor’s degree, preferred.
- Strong customer satisfaction skills.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team environment with a high degree of personal accountability.
- Commitment to detail and quality.
- Possess a sense of curiosity.
- Interpersonal communication skills that drive success.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows/Office/Excel/Adobe/Scheduling software/Video Conferencing.
- Familiarity with HubSpot preferred.
- Ability to work at a computer while on the telephone for up to 8 hours a day.
- Bilingual or multilingual preferred.
