Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IFRS and Swiss Code of Obligations.
- Accurate management of fixed assets and operational accounting (project, profit center, internal order, and cost center accounting).
- Recording incoming orders and project revenue using SAP.
- Maintaining various master data and daily monitoring of value flows in SAP.
- Hedge, equity, and lease accounting according to IFRS.
- Reconciling and managing various clearing accounts; balance sheet account reconciliation.
- Process responsibility and controls in the RTR area (ICS).
- Acting as a contact person for internal and external partners, including auditors, banks, and service partners.
- Supporting financial projects and initiatives (e.g. system implementations, process optimizations, automations).
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Solid basic education with further training in finance and accounting.
- Several years of professional experience in accounting according to IFRS; knowledge of local Swiss GAAP is an advantage.
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing Swiss registered company and in project accounting is desired.
- Excellent SAP FI / CO knowledge; further modules are a plus (MM, SD, PS, VIM).
- Excellent communication skills in English; good German skills are a plus.
- Confidence in closing accounts and a strong affinity for automated processes, logical thinking, and pragmatic solutions.
- Independent, responsible, and goal-oriented work style.
- Reliable and precise working methods as well as a customer-oriented attitude.
- Committed and cheerful personality who can maintain an overview and set priorities even in hectic situations.
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- A willingness to continuously learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
