Operations Specialist

The job in brief

You will refer to the Operations Manager from our Spanish Headquarter and work closely with both the Store Managers and our HQ Operations Managers in Denmark. Your desk will be in our Head Quarter in Spain, but you will be regularly visiting our stores. In alignment with HQ in Denmark you will be responsible for implementing new systems and guidelines in the Spanish organization. Together with the Operations Manager you set directions, and you are not afraid to be hands-on involved.

You will ensure that NORMAL's corporate values are implemented and 'alive' within the Spanish organization. You motivate, encourage and train the Store Managers, Assistant Store Managers, and Staff.

Areas of responsibilities

Your overall responsibility will be supporting our Store Managers in their daily operation routines and planning, preparing, and supporting in carrying out inventories in all NORMAL stores in Spain, according to the existing Inventory model. You will be evaluating results and monitoring stock movements from our Spanish stores.

• Supporting and developing the Store Managers in their daily operation routines.
• Maintain inventories in NORMAL’s stores, primarily in Spain.
• Ensure that our Store Managers are informed and prepared about the Inventory (full count) process and know their role in this.
• Ongoing active participation in the inventories (full count) in the stores.
• Follow-up on Inventory (full count) results and initiation of any action plans.

About you

• Good retail background as a Store Manager or stock controller and a desire to be hands-on involved in the business.
• Have experience doing inventories and stock control tasks.
• You wish to contribute to the development and optimization of NORMAL's unique business concept.
• You can work independently and also enjoy teamwork, always with dedication and attention to detail.
• You thrive in giving support to the stores and helping them in their stock daily work.
• Through good leadership and communication skills, you will work constantly to support the stores and staff.
• Your strategic work style has an analytic focus, always prioritizing on the task at hand.
• You are good at prioritizing and planning your work.
• You communicate fluently in Spanish as well as English, in writing and orally.
