Mechanical Design Engineer - CAD Software / 3D Printing / CNC Machining

We are recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer with 4+ years of experience in mechanical design and prototyping, solid CAD software tools knowledge and good exposure to 3D printing (various materials and methods) to join our client in the beautiful city of Barcelona in Spain on a permanent basis, working on a hybrid model (4 days per week in office, 1 day per week from home).

This organization is a well-established startup with solid financial backing and a focus on robotics/drone manufacturing for the capture of high quality, high resolution images.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be focused on contributing to the mechanical design of our client's flight vehicle and its mechanisms, in every stage of the development process, and will iterate and improve on the design of current models.

Please note, you must hold an EU passport or have the full right to work in Spain to be considered for this role.

Required skills:

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical design and prototyping.
• Master's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Proficient in CAD software tools.
• 3D printing with various materials and methods.
• Design for CNC machining.
• Experience in composite and lightweight materials.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of thermal and structural analysis is a plus.
