Responsibilities:

  • Executing development plans in alignment with the overarching project schedule.
  • Follow the technical specifications documents.
  • Optimize engine performance, fuel economy, and emissions using calibration tools and software.
  • Conduct engine & vehicle testing and data analysis to refine calibration settings.
  • Ensure engine calibrations meet all relevant emissions and current regulatory standards for European, Asian, African & LATAM markets (Euro V & VI).
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in engine calibration technology and methodologies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on calibration techniques and procedures.

What we value:

  • Prior experience in the automotive industry (minimum 1 to 3 years), engine calibration, or powertrain R&D are valuable.
  • Knowledge in vehicle electronics (CAN protocol).
  • We value as positive previous experiences on diesel/gasoline powertrains calibration.
  • Experience in ETAS modules and INCA tools.
  • A proficient level of English is required to comprehend input documents and deliver outputs with a high standard of written quality. Proficiency in French is also considered an asset.
  • Advanced communication and management skills.
  • Knowledge of processes and tools: DOORS, DDT2000, Tradconfig, BOM-C, GCC, CANalyzer, MDA, Concerto.
