Amazon Consumables Private Brands is looking for a high-performing, motivated Business Intelligence Engineer to support our business in developing new dashboards and internal-facing data products. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to deliver results using core AWS products including Redshift, Quicksight, S3, Sagemaker, EC2, Lambda, and Glue. If you're a problem solver with the ability to dive deep into our huge data warehouse and produce scalable solutions, then this role is for you!
We aim to work 70% of the time on Roadmap projects while the other 30% is dedicated to maintenance tasks and solving issues we could have in some of our data pipelines or data products. Those data products can vary from QuickSight Dashboards to Web Applications or simple Excel Reports. As BIE, you'll support EU CPB specific needs and work on WW APB projects for Deals and Supply Chain. You will collaborate very frequently with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, analyze them, design a solution, implement it, and validate it with them, documenting all your work properly.
The vision of CPB is to be the intuitive choice of daily essentials at unrivalled value that delights customers and keeps them coming back for more. This team supports that by designing/building robust BI solutions that provide insights from complex datasets. We work with Big Data technologies to help understand "what happened" (reports, dashboards), "why did it happen" (bridges, deep-dives), "what will happen next" (forecasting), and "what is the next best move" (recommendations, optimization). We strive to be the reference BI team in Private Brands for both business and BI teams for what we do and how we do it.
Here at Amazon Consumables Private Brands, we embrace our differences and are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion. We host frequent learning experiences to ensure DEI is consistently treated as a priority. We actively recruit people from diverse backgrounds to build a supportive and inclusive workplace and take steps to ensure employees have a sense of belonging, value, and opportunity. Our team is dedicated to supporting you with mentorship and pathways for ongoing development. We have a broad mix of experience levels and tenures and are building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and promotes career choice. Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
