About the Company - We are looking for a Business Controller who wants to consolidate a career being a part of a leading in vitro diagnostic company that has been growing enormously during the last 15 years. As an expert professional in your area, you will be joining our Finance & Controlling department.
Location: Barcelona (Spain) or Oporto (Portugal) – Depending on candidate preference
Responsibilities
- Planning and Control of Multiple Company Activities - Ensure transparency and clarity regarding the scope of action across all projects.
- Productivity Monitoring - Actively monitor and drive productivity improvement measures.
- Transactional Process Management - Oversee the company’s transactional processes, identifying and implementing improvements in reporting and internal audit procedures.
- Budget and Forecast Management - Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts at both national and EMEA/S-Corp levels.
- Process Knowledge - Maintain comprehensive knowledge of internal processes related to the company's economic management, including P&G, Balance Sheet, Balanced Scorecard, and OTC.
- Objective Monitoring - Define, prepare, and monitor key metrics and magnitudes aligned with the objectives set by General Management.
- Expense Control - Maintain and control project expenses with a significant impact on the company’s financial performance.
- Financial Planning Process - Oversee and manage the company's planning calendar, including forecasts, budgets, objectives, and financial KPIs.
- IT and SAP Support - Provide support in IT functions to ensure efficient and reliable use of SAP and other financial tools.
- Tool Automation and Control - Drive continuous improvement of computer tools to automate and control all transactional data.
Quality and Environmental Compliance - Take responsibility for roles and responsibilities defined in the quality and environmental management system, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and ISO standards.
