The Store Manager will oversee all aspects of the boutique’s operations, including sales performance, staff management, customer experience, and visual merchandising. This role requires a skilled leader who can inspire a team, drive sales, maintain the boutique’s luxurious ambiance, and build relationships with high-end clientele. The ideal candidate has a background in luxury retail, a passion for fashion, and a meticulous eye for detail.
1. Sales & Business Development:
Drive and maximize boutique sales performance to achieve monthly and yearly targets.
Develop sales strategies and lead the team in implementing best practices to increase revenue.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to senior management, identifying opportunities and challenges.
2. Client Relationship Management (Clienteling):
Cultivate and nurture relationships with VIP clients and develop a loyal client base.
Oversee clienteling activities, encouraging the team to build meaningful, long-term relationships with clients.
Personally engage with top clients, providing them with personalized service and exclusive access to new arrivals and events.
3. Team Leadership & Staff Development:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales associates, setting high standards for service, behavior, and professionalism.
Conduct regular training sessions on customer service, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
Manage staff scheduling, ensuring sufficient coverage during peak hours and seasonal high-demand periods.
Provide constructive feedback and conduct performance evaluations to encourage team growth and excellence.
4. Store Operations & Administration:
Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
Maintain an organized, efficient back-of-house area, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment of items.
Coordinate with headquarters on inventory needs, store supplies, and any maintenance issues.
5. Visual Merchandising & Boutique Presentation:
Ensure that all products are displayed attractively and in line with the brand’s visual guidelines and standards.
Oversee seasonal visual changes, special promotions, and window displays to maintain a fresh, inviting store environment.
Conduct regular store walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, organization, and an inviting ambiance.
6. Customer Experience & Service Excellence:
Uphold the highest standards of customer service, ensuring each client receives a memorable and personalized shopping experience.
Address client concerns or complaints professionally, aiming to exceed customer expectations and maintain a positive brand image.
Be an active presence on the sales floor, engaging with customers and supporting the team in delivering exceptional service.
7. Financial & Administrative Oversight:
Monitor and manage the store's budget, expenses, and P&L to achieve financial objectives.
Handle cash management, daily reconciliation, and bank deposits as required.
Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer data, and oversee CRM system usage.
8. Event Planning & In-Store Experiences:
Plan and coordinate in-store events, such as collection launches, VIP shopping sessions, and exclusive previews.
Work with headquarters to organize promotional activities, seasonal events, and collaborations with local influencers or artists.
