About the Role

Your mission
To craft visually and narratively compelling video content that engages viewers and to continuously improve our editing processes through collaboration and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Editing Full Scenes: Ensure compelling storytelling and visual appeal by editing full scenes to a high standard.
2. Creating Engaging Clips: Produce clips that showcase key plot points without revealing too much, leaving viewers wanting more.
3. Collaborating on Guidelines: Work with the Product Manager, Head Editor, and other team members to review and update editing guidelines, offering proactive feedback to enhance the final product.
4. Staying Updated: Keep up with the latest editing techniques and software, sharing your knowledge with the team during weekly Editor Standups.

Your KPIs
We believe in data-driven success — these are the KPIs your performance will be measured by:

1. Editing Quality Score: This score will average revisions per scene, technical compliance, and on-time delivery, reviewed quarterly.
2. Technical Compliance Rate: Track and measure technical performance by logging errors and revisions.
3. On-time Delivery Rate: Monitor missed deadlines to evaluate punctuality and adherence to deadlines.

Outcomes
We will measure your success by the following practical outcomes:

1. Editing Quality: Maintain an average video quality rating of 9/10 in internal reviews by the end of Q1 2025, with minimal revision cycles required per scene.
2. Guideline Review: Actively contribute to updating editing guidelines and implementing new best practices.
3. Collaboration Effectiveness: Achieve a 90% satisfaction rate in collaboration surveys conducted after the trial period.
