Could you be the full-time Bid Technical Manager for Security Projects in Madrid we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your signalling expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.

You'll manage functionally the engineering team allocated to the tender. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management), manage the interfaces with Tender core team and ensure engineering internal interfaces and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of performing technical exchanges with the customer, but also analysing the customer requirements, identifying gaps versus reference product and providing technical documentation for tender submission to customer.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Define best compromise to address the gaps (QCD) (Mechanical, Functional Architecture)
  • Identify technical risks, and ensure they are covered by dedicated action plan agreed by Platform and Metiers.
  • Establish engineering QCD commitment: Master planning, costing, PDO, Risk assessment and management plan
  • Get the validation of Site Engineering Director –(or Bid technical manager) and Bid Manager on the Engineering assumption pack gathering the Engineering outputs.

  • Engineer profile is a must.
  • 3-5 years previous experience in signalling projects
  • Previous project management experience or strong leadership skills
  • Previous experience working on cross-functional teams is preferred
  • Previous rail industry experience preferred
  • Fluent in French is desirable.
