[BGV-868] Finance Business Analyst

At AXA Partners we are looking for a dynamic Finance Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analysing the Profit and Loss (P&L;) statements of three key Business Lines: Motor, Travel, and Home. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying risks and seizing opportunities to achieve our targets.
You will play a vital role in our regular reporting, forecasting, and planning processes, contributing valuable insights and analysis. Your support will be instrumental in ensuring the success of each Business Line, with a focus on controlling New Business (NB) and bridging the gap between sales and finance.
Additionally,
you will collaborate on the compilation of monthly central reports, including Gross Written Premium (GWP), NB, central projects GBP, and local projects data cubes. Key Responsibilities:
Financial and Strategic Planning

1. Contribute to the monthly closings, annual strategic planning, budgets and forecasts process through providing data on local business.
2. Close analysis with network to forecast margins and monitor.

Analysis PL and Business:

1. Take responsibility for Monthly analysis of BL´s and job family, reporting monthly dashboards to local and central team.
2. New Business monthly report and Gross Written Premium.
3. Identify key drivers, risks and opportunities and provide recommendations.

Contribute to projects and ad-hoc analysis:

1. Central projects like GBP and local as data cubes.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Strong financial and analytical skills, with a focus on results and project management abilities.
2. Analytical, creative, and organized mindset.
3. Proficient in problem-solving.
4. Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
5. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
6. 3-5 years of experience in Reporting or Controlling, including financial planning and analysis, reporting, and accounting procedures.
7. Fluent in English.
8. Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
9. Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools.
10. Knowledge of the insurance business is essential.
