About the role
We are looking for a Product Data Analyst who will share our passion for excellence and continuous challenge. We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Product Data Analyst to join our agile team. This key role will be centered around a specific product and will require an individual who is confident in making data-driven decisions autonomously, with the backing of a knowledgeable and collaborative team. This role will involve a balance of in-depth data analysis, data quality assurance, cross-functional collaboration, and a business-oriented approach, all in service of our mission to continuously improve our products. We seek individuals who are meticulous, capable problem-solvers and possess a strong aptitude for data analysis. In this Role, you'll get to:
- Act as a data referent for a designated product within an agile squad, leading all data-related activities and decisions.
- Define product tracking requirements enabling the measurement of product performance.
- Perform comprehensive data analysis, leveraging large datasets to generate actionable insights that will shape product development and improvements.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of product-related datasets within our data ecosystem, identifying areas for continual improvement.
- Develop, implement, and manage efficient data pipelines to support data extraction and analysis, enhancing the quality of insights for both product development and customer experience.
- Champion a culture of data-informed decision-making within the squad and the wider organization, educating team members on the benefits of a data-focused approach.
Required Skills:
- A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- A solid understanding of data structures and data manipulation methodologies.
- Familiarity with data management tools and their application to both structured and unstructured data.
- Knowledge of Python (Pandas, Matplotlib...) and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary agile team.
Extra points:
- Experience with Databricks (preferably Azure), Snowflake, and BigQuery.
- Experience with PySpark and SQL for advanced data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with Git (Azure DevOps) for version control and CI/CD operations.
- Experience with NoSQL systems and Big Data tools (MongoDB, CosmosDB, HDFS, HBASE...).
- Practical experience using Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian tools in agile development.
- Previous experience in a Cloud environment, preferably Azure.
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow and DBT.
- Previous experience in A/B testing design and results analysis.
- Previous experience working in Mobile App products with Firebase as a tracking tool.
