About the Role:
As Head of Project Management, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project management team, leading and managing multiple projects from Ready to Build (RTB) status to Commercial Operation Date (COD). You will provide strategic leadership, recruit and build a high-performing team of project managers and site managers, and ensure the successful execution of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) projects. Some key responsibilities include:
- Recruit, lead & manage the team for future success.
- Drive Project Success from Ready to Build (RTB) to Commercial Operation Date (COD), ensuring seamless execution.
- Optimize Resource Allocation by strategically organizing teams and managing resources for maximum efficiency.
- Review & Enhance EPC Contracts, providing critical feedback and leading renegotiations when necessary.
- Develop & execute 3-to-5 year strategy of the onshore business in Barcelona.
- Coordinate Across Functions, aligning engineering, supply chain, and construction to drive project progress.
- Proactively Plan & Execute, anticipating project needs and managing timelines to avoid delays.
- Represent the Company at industry events and meetings with key stakeholders, enhancing relationships and visibility.
The Person:
The successful candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in EPC project management, particularly in renewable energy or construction.
- Strong technical engineering background, ideally with experience in delivering large-scale renewable energy projects (2 GW+).
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex contracts and relationships with stakeholders.
- A hands-on, entrepreneurial approach and a proven track record in delivering results.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; additional European languages are a plus.
- Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments and managing competing priorities.
