Backend Engineer - Query Team

As a Software Engineer with the Query Team, you’ll work on high-traffic, critical systems, ensuring their performance, scalability, and reliability. The expectations for this role are to:

• Implement features to further improve query processing, and better serve our customers' demands.
• Own the full development lifecycle: design solutions, develop and iterate on them, and deliver them to production, while ensuring our systems remain stable, performant, and scalable.
• Be comfortable with working on cross-team initiatives.

You will be successful in this role if you:

• Have experience working on services with high traffic and high availability.
• Have a solid foundation on algorithms, data structures & their trade-offs.
• Possess strong analytical skills and strive to make data-driven decisions.
• Enjoy learning new things & jumping between different technology stacks.
• Have a basic understanding of NLP and ML.
• Are familiar with cloud technologies.
