Backend developer

Position Overview

As a Backend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing the infrastructure that powers our applications and services. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing the efficiency and performance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Development and Maintenance: Contribute to the development and maintenance of server-side logic and functionality for our applications.
2. Database Integration: Collaborate on the integration and management of databases.
3. Code Optimization: Actively participate in maintaining and optimizing existing code to ensure efficient performance.
4. Feature Implementation: Develop new features and services, ensuring effective and efficient implementation.
5. Technical Communication: Collaborate with internal teams and occasionally with clients to communicate technical aspects and find joint solutions.
6. Technical Meetings: Participate in technical meetings to discuss projects, troubleshoot issues, and contribute innovative ideas.

Technical Skills Required

1. Solid experience in Node.js.
2. Proficiency in libraries such as Express, Mongoose, Ioredis, Moment, Async, Lodash, Nodemailer, Joi.
3. Preferably experience with MongoDB, Redis and Cassandra.
4. Advanced knowledge of Docker and Git.
5. Familiarity with tools like WSL, NVM, and AWS.
6. Experience with communication protocols, preferably UDP, MQTT, HTTP, Websockets.
7. Preferably knowledge in IoT, Python.
8. Knowledge of Rust and DevOps is a plus.
