AWS Data Project Management Remote

At K2 Partnering Solutions, we are looking for an experienced AWS Data Project Manager and Architect to lead and manage data projects for our client. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in AWS cloud services, data architecture, and project management who are looking for an opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage complex data projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
2. Design and implement scalable data architectures using AWS services such as S3, Redshift, RDS, Lambda, Glue, and EMR.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and align solutions with business objectives.
4. Guide and mentor data engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
5. Ensure data security, compliance, and quality assurance in line with industry standards.
6. Maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flow charts, and project plans.

Requirements:

1. 7+ years of experience in AWS data engineering, architecture, or project management.
2. Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
3. Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and AWS services like Glue, S3, Redshift, and EMR.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish (C1 or native) and English (B2 or higher).
5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
2. Familiarity with Machine Learning frameworks and cloud-based AI solutions.
3. Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
4. Industry experience in Energy, Oil, or Life Sciences.
5. AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Data Analytics.
