TheUniversity of Barcelona School of Economics invites applications for seven six-year Assistant Professor positions in Economics starting in June 2025. Promotion to full tenure (Associate Professor) is contingent upon favorable evaluation and governmental accreditation.

Candidates are expected to show outstanding commitment to research and must have completed a PhD degree by December 1, 2024.
They will be expected to teach within both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, supervise student’s work at any level, establish independent research programmes recognised internationally, and actively participate in the school's research activities. Successful candidates will join the following departments:
Department of Economics – Section of Economic Theory (2 positions: 1 in Microeconomics and 1 in Macroeconomics). Fields of interest:
