Articles 77 and 78 of Organic Law 2 / 2023, of 22 March, on the university system (LOSU), regulate the basic legal status of doctoral assistant lecturers, the purpose of which is to develop teaching, research and transfer skills, as well as university governance. This constitutes a first level of access in the potential career of teaching and research staff at the Universitat Politècnica de València, which has a human capital that is a fundamental asset for carrying out its activities.

This promotion of young talent in the access to the position of assistant lecturer doctor is articulated by means of the inclusion of a set of positions in the ‘Programa +Cantera’.

Consequently, in accordance with article 65 of the Statutes of the Universitat Politècnica de València, approved by Decree 122 / 2024, of 24 September, of the Consell, following the agreement of the Governing Council, this rectorate resolves to approve the following rules of the call for applications :
