We are looking for a proactive and committed Investment Banking (“IB”) Intern with strong analytical skills to join the Corporate & Investment Banking (“CIB”) team in our Madrid office. This role would be a 6-month contract (with the potential to extend for an additional 6 months). You will work in a fast-paced, international environment, with direct exposure to senior members of the CIB team. You will also gain in-depth knowledge of the Latin American (“Lat Am”) market and have the opportunity to work amongst the best talent in the Brazilian financial sector.
The CIB division’s focus is to support European clients in their strategic operations in Lat Am. Within the division, the Investment Banking team provides customised assistance in the coordination, execution and negotiation of acquisitions, investments, mergers and corporate restructurings, for mid and large size corporates and financial investors. As a member of the wider CIB team, you will also have the opportunity to be in contact with the Corporate Banking specialists who provide a wide range of services ranging from credit facilities, trade financing and guarantees to derivatives and deposits, gaining a deeper understanding of CIB’s full breadth of services.
