WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Design, develop, and maintain Big Data pipelines using technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Hive
• Optimize and enhance data processing workflows for scalability and performance
• Write efficient, complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
• Develop and maintain data solutions using Python or Scala
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native big data solutions such as AWS EMR or GCP Dataproc
• Ensure data integrity, security, and quality across all pipelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance and scalability challenges in distributed computing environments
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to support business intelligence and machine learning initiatives.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN YOU?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Native Spanish Language and Advanced level of English (C1)
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Big Data Developer or similar role
• Proficiency with Big Data frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, etc.
• Solid experience in programming languages Python or Scala
• Experience in Complex SQL
• Strong understanding of distributed computing principles and algorithms
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with cloud-native big data solutions (e.g., AWS EMR, GCP Dataproc)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on optimization and performance
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
