The role in a nutshell

As part of our team, you will leverage your Anaplan Model Builder background to address diverse data-related tasks that demand creative approaches and proficiency in cloud-centric implementations. You will implement full end-to-end projects and be an integral part of our Center of Excellence (CoE).

More specifically, you will be expected to:

1. Partner with business key-users and Global Anaplan Solution Architects to design, develop, test, and implement Anaplan solutions in the mining/smelting industry;
2. Lead regional Anaplan projects by collaborating with business teams to gather local business requirements and develop user stories;
3. Understand, convert and improve Excel based planning and budgeting into dynamic connected Anaplan models;
4. Train new users on the system and document processes;
5. Develop test cases and assist in UAT on the technical and functional acceptance;
6. Manage multiple stakeholders across various business functions;
7. Perform root cause analyses and propose solutions;
8. Articulate design and documentation for Anaplan models (process map, user guide, solution design document);
9. Effectively identify various dimensions, lists, hierarchies and line items, thereby creating a user-friendly and optimized solution;
10. Create Hub-Spoke & ALM structure along with user experience pages using the Anaplan New User Experience;
11. Closely follow Anaplan model building best practices;
12. Detailed understanding & working experience on Anaplan integration (Cloudworks, Anaplan Connect or other ETL tools) is a definite asset;
13. Understanding & working experience on PlanIQ, Optimizer, Reporting pages, Polaris, Workflow management, etc. is an asset.

Do you have what it takes?

1. Bachelors or graduates degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, software engineering or economics;
2. 2+ year modelling with Anaplan or end-to-end Anaplan implementations;
3. Anaplan certification (Model Builder Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Solution Architect) is desirable but Anaplan model building experience is mandatory;
4. Demonstrated ability to optimize;
5. Good understanding of planning budgeting & forecasting;
6. Understanding of the mining / concentrating / smelting industry is an asset;
7. Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a global team;
8. Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude;
9. Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.

Language: As you will be part of a global team, you will be required to communicate fluently in English (verbal and written). Knowledge of other languages such as French, German and/or Spanish is desirable.
