Description

As an AI Cloud Sales Representative for SMB, you will play a critical role in identifying, developing, and closing new AI business opportunities with our most strategic startup, SMB, and ISV customers. These businesses are changing the world using AI to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Business development – Identify AI opportunities in territory and build Go-To-Market to generate new pipeline.
  2. Pipeline management - Ensure adequate use of reporting/forecasting tools throughout the pipeline sales cycle.
  3. Sales ownership: Lead the sales engagement from initial meeting to closing at the most innovative startups.
  4. Executive engagement – Gain access to and establish relationships with key executives and decision-makers.
  5. Technical solutioning – Collaborate with AI tech specialists to build AI architectures supporting customers’ needs.
  6. Cross-team collaboration – Leverage OCI teams and partners to drive AI adoption and usage at customers.
  7. Deliver results – Exceed revenue (booking, consumption) and KPI goals for your territory.

What You’ll Bring

  1. 10-year experience selling technology platforms and infrastructure solutions in a startup or at a cloud provider.
  2. Solid knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, Generative AI, GPU, and AI services at customers is required.
  3. Experience in engaging at C-level and building long-term relationships in startups or Fortune 500 companies.
  4. Track record of winning large data and AI cloud projects with successful delivery.
  5. Excellent written, presentation, and communication skills.
  6. Strong understanding of the startup landscape including ISV, leading AI players, and consulting companies.
