AI IT Architecture Expert

The IT Architecture Expert is responsible for defining the organization’s IT architecture, overseeing its implementation within each project, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role includes managing and establishing the action plan for projects, ensuring compliance with deadlines, quality standards, and costs, as well as coordinating both internal and external resources.

This particular position focuses on the design, development, and integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the organization. It involves collaborating with various departments to ensure AI solutions align with business objectives and ethical standards.

KEY FUNCTIONS

• Monitor advancements in AI and IT to identify potential opportunities for integrating new tools and methodologies into the organization.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify potential AI applications, establish business objectives, and design AI-driven solutions that align with those goals.
• Create and manage a comprehensive roadmap for AI technology integration, ensuring that it is aligned with the overall IT architecture and business strategy.
• Design and lead the implementation of the IT system architecture to facilitate the AI integration in the organization systems.
• Coordinate and lead AI projects to ensure they align with organizational goals and are executed efficiently.
• Regularly communicate advances on the AI roadmap.
• Conduct training sessions on AI usage and best practices.
• Work with Innovation, Legal and Security departments to ensure AI applications meet ethical guidelines, security standards, fairness criteria, and legal regulations.

EDUCATION

• University degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Certifications in architecture frameworks and AI technologies are valuable.

RELEVANT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• At least 8 years’ experience in IT architecture design and project management, with at least 3 years focused on AI technologies and solutions.
• Expertise in systems integration, infrastructure planning, and cloud architecture.
• Experience managing complex IT projects with multidisciplinary teams.
• Deep understanding of AI / ML frameworks, algorithms, and platforms.
• Strong experience with data architectures, databases, and big data technologies.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient IT architectures.

OTHER RELEVANT SKILLS OR CHARACTERISTICS

• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
• Ability to align IT architecture and AI adoption with organizational goals and future needs.
• Proficiency in architectural modelling tools and techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and software development.
• Strong project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
