Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • Drive profitable and sustainable growth within assigned accounts and categories, ensuring strict compliance with brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Represent the assigned account(s) internally as an “ambassador” towards all functions and vice versa and manage all interfaces.
  2. Understand the assigned accounts and categories and document this by Account Fact Books.
  3. Develop and propose the account strategies, formalize them by Strategic Account Plans and get sign-off by the direct superior.
  4. Sell-in and agree on sell-out support and formalize this by Account Marketing Plans.
  5. Monitor sell-out and the order book continuously and ensure reliable and cost-efficient supply for the account.
  6. Support negotiation and enforcement of adidas Group trade terms.
  7. Push the digital channels of the assigned Account through continuous advice on brand positioning and strategic plans that seek the success of our brand in the e-commerce of our customers.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  1. High analytical skills for strategy development and business planning.
  2. Strong interpersonal skills: Very good communications and negotiating abilities as well as high presentation, relationship management and facilitation skills.
  3. High influence capability.
  4. Commercial and business acumen knowledge (e.g., sales, trade marketing, finance and controlling).
  5. Strong decision-making and determination, showing high initiative and pragmatism to the business.
  6. Proactive mentality with curiosity and desire to learn. Dynamic, motivating, and entrepreneurial-minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and deadlines.
  7. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  8. Strongly focused on goals achievement.
  9. Fluent in written and spoken Spanish as well as English.
  10. IT skills: Advanced MS Office Skills. SAP knowledge is an added plus.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
  2. University degree in business with sales or marketing focus.
  3. Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience within large sales organizations, ideally in apparel / fashion / shoes or FMCG.
  4. Exposure in Sports, Marketing, Supply Chain.
