Job Description:

ADLER Antenna RF Design & Test Engineer vacancy for a Spainsat Satellite Antenna has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Madrid. You will join the «Telecom & Navigation antenna Spain» department in charge of the architectural definition, design and development of Telecom and Navigation antennas.
Our department is now working on several European Telecom & Navigation systems. You'll be in charge of RF architecture and validation activities, supporting the project Lead Engineer and Project RF architect.
You'll develop your knowledge in antennas and participate in Airbus Defence & Space development in this exciting domain.

For Radio Frequency system/sub-systems/modules/equipments/or components have the ability to provide sufficient detailed data and information about system elements to enable the implementation consistent with architectural entities as defined in models and views of the system architecture and in accordance with the allocated requirements.
Verify the compliance of a detailed design solution toward baseline of validated requirements for a single system/sub-system/equipment/component/module.

From product or architecture requirements produce a specification for test, to elaborate test procedure and support and drive execution.

Required skills:

You will have the following skills and experience:

1. Educated to Master degree level (or equivalent) in Telecommunications or equivalent engineering.
2. Antenna RF Design experience for Space applications.
3. Experience of ESA (European Space Agency) projects would be appreciated.
4. Good knowledge of Linux and shell/bash scripting.
5. Autonomy, reactivity and adaptability.
6. Technical curiosity and pro-activity.
7. Language Skills: negotiation level English.

This role will involve some travel for business in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
