The Role

We are seeking a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with QuickBooks Online (QBO) certification and 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in financial planning, and optimizing accounting processes for scalability and growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain accurate records and control reports.
2. Assist in financial planning through cash forecasting.
3. Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization to drive growth.
4. Assess current operations, document processes, provide recommendations, and implement improvements.
5. Create and distribute periodic metrics and reports; prepare special reports as needed.
6. Perform daily reconciliation of QuickBooks Online (QBO).
7. Assist in the monthly closing process, including P&L analysis.
8. Identify and report discrepancies to management.
9. Conduct invoice and credit memo (CM) auditing.
10. Manage PayPal transactions.
11. Maintain COGs (Cost of Goods Sold) and ensure accurate financial reporting.
12. Handle other QuickBooks-related tasks and support the finance department as needed.

Ideal Profile

Requirements

1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification (mandatory).
2. QuickBooks Online (QBO) certification (mandatory).
3. 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
4. Strong understanding of financial planning, cash forecasting, and P&L analysis.
5. Experience with invoice auditing, PayPal management, and COGs maintenance.
6. Ability to assess and optimize financial processes for efficiency and growth.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
