We are looking for an Accountantbasedin Barcelona.
The job holder is a member of the Finance Technical Accounting Team and will be working with the Finance Technical Accounting Team members and the Directors for all key compliance deadlines of the Air Products legal entities.
As an Accountant, you will:
- Be responsible for ensuring that all key compliance deadlines are met;
- Ensure timely and accurate US GAAP and local GAAP under IFRS (LATAM) accounting and reporting and compliance and statutory requirements including statutory audit as applicable for AP subsidiaries in LATAM;
- Preparation of Statutory Financial Statements: Preparation of statutory financial statements for both companies, complying with local regulations and international standards;
- Conduct month-end and year-end close process;
- Collect, analyze and summarize account information;
- Audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures;
- Ensure timely and accurate GAAP’s accounting and reporting and compliance with all Tax, VAT and other statutory requirements including statutory audit as applicable.
You will have:
- Working experience of3-5 years in preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with IRFS;
- Study degree in Financial Accounting, preferrable IFRS background;
- Working experience in an international team;
- Fluent inPortuguese and English and Spanish;
- Advanced Excel skills;
- Ability to communicate effectively in a large multi-disciplined environment.
