Role :

The Accountant will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information from the point of transaction through to the financial close and periodic external reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annually) to one or more companies of EXOGROUP. The appointed person will be providing support to the accounting cycle, in an effective, efficient and compliant manner applying the Spanish Accounting Standards (PGC). The Accountant will be supervised by the Group Head of Accounting.

Location : Barcelona, Spain

Responsibilities :

• Bookkeeping of purchases and sales invoices
• Bank and card statements reconciliations
• Payment processes (AP & AR)
• Monthly Taxes submission (303,349,111,etc.)
• Weekly AEAT (SII) submission
• Month-end close process
• Assisting with financial and tax audits
• Providing support to ad-hoc projects

Requirements :

• 2-3 years of general accounting experience
• Expert Microsoft Excel and analytical skills
• ERP experience preferably in Odoo
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Good time-management skills
• Organized and attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Able to handle confidential information
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Passion for online business and new technologies
