Account Manager (m/f/d) for our location in Spain - Full-time at Takasago Europe GmbH

Together with its Japanese headquarter, TAKASAGO Europe GmbH is one of the world's leading producers of flavors. The business of the TAKASAGO Europe GmbH primarily extends to external customers from the food industry. Sales focus on Europe, Africa and the Middle East. TAKASAGO Europe GmbH currently employs around 430 people. European production, research, development and sales are based in Zülpich.

Your Role:

  • You are responsible for building close relationships with key customers and search for new business opportunities and potential customers in Iberia.
  • You develop customer development plans (CDP) and implement them together with the Sales Director.
  • You create the sales budget and forecast.
  • You support the development of a successful local sales strategy as well as a customized sales strategy.
  • You evaluate information to identify and forecast market trends and developments and advise on customer activities, customer brands and market trends.
  • Enter and track sample orders in SAP.
  • Creation of suitable promotional mailings.
  • Maintenance of the pricing system and customer database.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Educated to relevant degree level.
  • Basic technical knowledge about Food & Beverages and flavors & ingredients.
  • First professional experience min. 3 years in a sales-related area.
  • Very good English and Spanish skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP is an advantage.
  • Strong customer and communication skills with an ability to build trust.
  • Organizational skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Willingness to go on business trips.
