Job Summary

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring new accounts as well as developing and managing the account strategy and commercial relationship for assigned clients in the Fine Fragrances industry.

You will manage all aspects of the selling process, developing key relationships at the customer throughout all levels and functions as well as with key influencers. You must have the skills to develop a deep understanding of the customer’s business and identify opportunities to grow.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Be accountable for the account strategy, action plan, and development program pipeline required to grow or expand the business.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s business and growth objectives.
  • Be strategic: maintain and develop a long-term pipeline, innovation objectives, and deliverables to deliver growth in coordination with BU Functions.
  • Drive and meet sales and profit goals.
  • Manage and build relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders at the customer and within IFF.
  • Be accountable for the account managing process. Ensure broad coordination and resource deployment to achieve growth goals.
  • Serve as a role model to others.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven business development and/or key account management experience in the Fine Fragrances field in large global organizations.
  • Solid commercial background and strong demonstrated competency in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development roles with 5+ years of experience in a global organization.
  • Deep understanding of business growth processes and portfolio management in the consumer health industry.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
