We are looking for an Android Developer to join one of our clients – a specialized IT and Android Development company located in Düsseldorf, Germany. 10 years after its founding, they have been working with international clients like Vodafone, T-Systems, Zertisa, Facebook, and more.

The role

• Plan, develop, deploy, and maintain Android solutions
• Write clean, maintainable code and test it
• Collaborate with clients, gather requirements
• Define tasks and give time estimates
• Present your solutions in front of clients and a group of colleagues
• Use agile methodologies in development, participate in code reviews, pair programming, and other knowledge sharing activities
• Availability to move to Düsseldorf in the short term

Requirements

• Professional experience with Android SDK and Java
• Good knowledge of Kotlin
• Experience in writing clean and testable code and unit tests
• You are a team player eager to develop and improve your skills
• Experience with software architecture: MVC, MVP, or MVVM
• Knowledge of RxJava, Dagger 2
• Excellent English skills (other European languages are a plus)
