Ziess CMM Inspector

Overview

CMM Inspection of Aerospace forgings for the main OEMs.

Requiring two engineers experienced with Zeiss Hawk 3 scanner and GOM (Zeiss Inspect) software package.

Scanning and analyzing the results to ensure compliance with requirements.

Job Description:

• Customer is seeking skilled individuals to support CMM dimensional measurement of forgings efforts at their facility.
• Daily inspection of forgings. Resource will be checking for conformity to customer specifications, acting as a quality gate.
• Further orientation will be performed onsite.

Duration:

• 3 to 6 months

Frequency:

• Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:30 and Friday 07:30 to 12:30, although there can be additional hours and flexibility.

Skill Requirements:

• Experience with Zeiss Hawk 3 scanner and GOM (Zeiss Inspect) software package.
• At least 3 years’ experience using dimensional inspection equipment.
• Hands-on experience with GD&T per ANSI Y 14.5.
• Must be able to interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Familiarity with quality and manufacturing processes.
• Preferably an inspection background in receiving, in-process inspection knowledge of FAI reports.
• Must be a UK Citizen.
