Yard Forklift Operator

Randstad's Industrial Division is currently hiring a Yard Forklift Operator for a busy Manufacturing company in Calgary.

Position Details

Position: Yard Forklift Operator
Shift: Rotating schedule, 3:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Must be available every day as the shifts are rotating
Salary: $23/hour
Location: Calgary (Must be able to drive as the location is NOT transit accessible)

Responsibilities

1. Operate the Counterbalance Forklift (Cat. 4500lbs lifting capacity)
2. Collaborate with various departments for a steady workflow
3. Maintain a clean and organized workspace
4. Lift up to 50lbs - 60lbs
5. Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned
6. Must be comfortable with working outside

Qualifications

1. Previous experience operating a forklift in a construction, manufacturing, production, or industrial setting
2. Internal forklift certification will be provided (External certificate is considered an asset)
3. Must own and wear PPE, including metatarsal steel-toe boots
4. Ability to work in a busy, noisy, and dusty environment
